A Chromogenic test for the rapid detection of Mycoplasma agalactiae and Mycoplasma bovis. The test involves using the novel PPR ester substrate. When a solution of this substrate is added to colonies of either M. bovis or M. agalactiae they become bright red within 30-60 min. Place order here.
Chromogenic medium for the detection of Salmonella species. Chromogenic Salmonella agar (CSE) is a modified base agar containing peptones and nutrient extracts and incorporates the novel PPR esterase substrate. The growth of Salmonella spp. on this agar results in the hydrolysis of the ester to produce a brightly coloured phenol that remains within the colonies. Place order here.
Chromogenic medium for detecting Candida species. The agar is based upon a Sabouraud Dextrose formulation containing the PPR glucosaminide substrate. All strains of Candida albicans grown on this agar have produced deep pink/red spotted colonies within 24-48 hours of incubation at 37°C. Place order here.
